Out of Office Auto-Reply Email Examples (for Sales and Client Teams)

Out of office auto-replies that protect deals instead of stalling them. A standard version, a version that hands the account to a covering rep, a version that keeps an active deal moving, and a short conference or travel version. The point of a sales OOO is not to disappear, it is to route the buyer to someone who can help and to set the day you are back.

Use it when: Use whenever you will be unreachable for a day or more and have live opportunities or customers who might email. Always name a backup contact for anything urgent, give a specific return date rather than a vague one, and avoid sharing exact travel details publicly.
