Cold Call Script (Opener + Qualify)

A permission-based opener that disarms the prospect, states why you called, and moves into two or three qualifying questions without pitching.

Use it when: Use for outbound cold calls where you have a few seconds to earn the conversation.

OPENER
Hi [First name], this is [Your name] from [Company]. I know I am catching you out of the blue, can I take 30 seconds to tell you why I called and you can decide if it is worth continuing?

[Pause. Wait for yes.]

REASON
Thanks. I work with [job title]s at [industry] companies who are dealing with [specific problem]. It usually shows up as [symptom]. I am not sure that is even a thing for you, which is why I am calling.

QUALIFY
- How are you handling [area] today?
- What is working about that, and what is not?
- If you could wave a wand and fix one part of it, what would it be?

TRANSITION
That lines up with what we do. The best next step is usually a short screen share where I show you exactly how [comparable customer] solved that. Do you have 20 minutes [day] or [day]?

IF NOT NOW
