How To Make This Alien Craft Your Own
Just like all our crafts you can make this alien craft your own. You can do things like:
- Use small pompoms as lights instead of adding different colored paint.
- Add a craft stick or popsicle stick to the bottom to make this alien craft a puppet.
- Add stickers of planets and stars to your spacecrafts.
- Instead of painting your flying saucer, decorate it with markers.
- Use sequins or faux gems to make fancy lights and shiny bits on your alien spacecraft.
- Add pipe cleaners around the edge of

Our Experience With This Alien Craft
My kids love aliens. Not like the grainy footage type aliens or like those free videos of people allegedly recording aliens, but silly aliens like the Martian from Bugs Bunny, Space Jam, Monsters vs Aliens, and the ET movie. Which is a must-see by the way if you or your kids have never seen it. It really is a fun movie.
Anyway, after watching ET again my kids wanted to make aliens. And while I’m not talented enough to come up with an ET craft, I decided this paper plate craft was simple enough my youngest and oldest kids could both do it with ease and still have fun.
And they did! They made their aliens look silly and even named them. It was a good craft that was easy to do and budget-friendly which is always a plus. So, I hope your family has as much fun making this alien craft as mine did.
