We reported earlier how Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) had to clear up the media disinformation about President Donald Trump’s Arlington National Cemetery visit. He also ripped into Kamala Harris for her vile tweet attack on Trump, as well as her failure to support the families of the 13 fallen service members who were killed because of the incompetence of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Senator @TomCottonAR SHUTS DOWN the Fake News Arlington hoax: “He didn’t take campaign photos there. These families — Gold Star families — whose children died due to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s incompetence, invited him to the cemetery, and they asked him to take those… pic.twitter.com/H1jvKt0XQ2

He noted the families, not Trump, wanted the photos for their own memories, and that Harris has never spoken to them — despite their requests, and that Harris was “four miles away” in Washington:
“She was four miles away — ten minutes. She could’ve gone to the cemetery and honor the sacrifice of those young men and women, but she hasn’t. She never has spoken to them or taken a meeting with them,” he said.
It was then that “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker interrupted saying, “They did meet with them during the dignified transfer. They were with them at the dignified transfer.”
Of course, this wasn’t true. Kamala Harris was not there. Joe Biden was, but it was a disaster, with the families saying he was constantly checking his watch and talking about his son Beau more than about their children.
Now, “Meet the Press” is trying to clean up the mess that Welker made and how wrong that was. But even in that attempt, they messed up.
On our broadcast this morning, we incorrectly implied that both President Biden and Vice President Harris attended the dignified transfer of 13 American service members killed during the Afghanistan withdrawal. Biden was in attendance but Harris was not.

No, she didn’t just “incorrectly imply” it, she falsely stated it, straight out. You don’t just get to make a tweet on X, hope that no one sees it and that covers your false statement. You have to make a correction that you falsely said it to your NBC audience.
While you’re at it, why not report the controversy about Biden checking his watch and talking more about his son than about their family members during that event.

How about also reporting on how both the Gold Star families and JD Vance blasted Harris for her tweet that sought to politicize the matter, and they were angry that neither she nor Biden has responded to any of their requests for answers in the killings of their family members?

People were infuriated with the “correction,” and the show downplaying it as “implied.”

NBC News is so in the tank for Kamala that it lied on @MeetThePress about her being on hand when the 13 heroes who died at Abbey Gate came home. 🙄
