Another Tuesday, another set of primaries. Today’s races include Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, and Washington.
Races to keep a close eye on tonight:
- In Michigan, the race to replace the retiring Debbie Stabenow (D) in the Senate features Rep. Elissa Slotkin as the Democrat favorite, with former Rep. Mike Rogers as the Republican favorite, although former Rep. Justin Amash is challenging him.
- In Washington, Rep. Dan Newhouse, one of the 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump, is seeking reelection. There are seven other contenders vying to replace him.
- In Missouri, the race for the 1st Congressional District features St. Louis County Prosecutor Wesley Bell challenging Squad member Cori Bush for the Democrats. The polling (and fundraising advantage) favor Bell for the upset. Will Bush be the second Squad member sent packing?
- Missouri also features a tight three-way gubernatorial race among Republicans, featuring current Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft, current Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe, and state Senator Bill Eigel, as well as an Attorney General race between sitting AG Andrew Bailey and Trump appellate attorney Will Scharf.
Polls close at 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. Eastern in Kansas, Michigan, and Missouri, and 11:00 p.m. Eastern in Washington. RedState will bring you the live results right here, so be sure to check in — and participate in the comments below.
