During 2020 we saw a lot of creative ways families made handprint art together often posting on Facebook and Instagram. Supplies Needed for Construction Paper Handprint Art
- White piece of construction paper for the background
- Different color of construction paper for each member of the family
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Permanent marker
- Glue
- (Optional) Frame
Instructions for Construction Paper Handprint Art
- Start with a white or light piece of construction paper as the canvas.
- Using a pencil, trace around each member of the family’s hand on different color construction paper.
- Cut out each handprint with scissors.
- Stack the handprints from smallest to largest and then glue in place.
- Trim as needed and frame.

One of the quickest ways to make a family handprint keepsake is simply to grab some washable paint, a paintbrush and a piece of paper.

Our Experience Making Handprint ARt Together
This idea came to my family back in 2020 when we were spending a lot of time together! It was definitely a bonding experience — we watched a lot of movies, TV, did projects together around the house.
