  2. In the Roman Republic there were two classes, the Plebians, who were farmers, soldiers, merchants, and other daily jobs, and the Patricians, who were made up the richer classes of Rome, worked as politicians, and senators.
  3. The Tribune of the Plebs was a job that was held by a Plebeian Roman, the tribune would advocate for the rights and voice of the Plebeian Romans.
  4. The core tenant of the Roman Republic was libertas, which was the right to be free. 
  5. In 338 BCE the Via Appia was created, it was the first Roman road to be made out of cement.
