Coty and Swarovski aim to shine in the luxury beauty market with new partnership

The partnership marks a significant step for both brands in the luxury beauty market with a focus on the “opportunity to develop, produce and distribute a new vision of fragrances,” Coty’s press announcement confirmed.

Founded in 1904, Coty is one of the world’s largest beauty companies, offering products in more than 125 countries. Meanwhile, Swarovski, established in 1895, is known for its impeccable craftsmanship and commitment to sustainability, with a strong global presence and a legacy of excellence.

An agreement rooted in creativity and innovation

This agreement combines Coty’s beauty expertise and Swarovski’s reputation for artistry and craftsmanship. Jean Holtzmann, Coty’s Chief Brands Officer Prestige, noted in a Coty press announcement that “we are delighted to announce our new, long-term partnership with Swarovski to develop and bring to market exciting new fragrance and beauty ranges.”

She added that the company is “renowned for its cutting-edge technology and unparalleled artistry.” Therefore, “Swarovski has garnered significant recognition among global consumers, making it an ideal fit for a worldwide rollout across key markets such as EMEA, the Americas, and Asia.”

The collaboration is part of Coty’s strategic focus on licensing agreements with multi-category potential, aiming to diversify its portfolio and enhance its reputation as a partner for global brands.

Swarovski expands its brand into beauty

For Swarovski, the partnership marks an opportunity to venture further into the beauty market and strengthen its presence in new categories. In a media statement, Michele Molon, Swarovski’s Chief Commercial Officer, shared that “partnering with Coty is a significant step for Swarovski as we continue to expand our brand into new product categories.”

He further expressed his enthusiasm for the coupling, which will allow “us to bring Swarovski’s unique positioning of Pop Luxury – a luxury that is creative, fun, colorful, and joyfully extravagant – to the world of beauty and fragrances whilst leveraging Coty’s extensive industry expertise.”

Launch timeline and market reach

The first offerings from this collaboration are expected to launch in 2026. With Swarovski’s presence in 140 countries and Coty’s global distribution network, the products will be available in key markets, including EMEA, the Americas, and Asia, Coty’s release confirmed.

This venture reinforces Swarovski’s brand visibility and product diversification while adding a new layer of innovation to Coty’s portfolio.

This partnership represents potential opportunities for cosmetics and personal care manufacturers and suppliers to engage with Coty and Swarovski as they develop luxury beauty products, particularly a new fragrance collection.
