Noëlle McAfee was preparing for the Emory University philosophy department’s 10-year review when she wandered into the quad to get a look at the student encampment. Before she knew it, she was arrested.
An Emory professor who was arrested when the police broke up an encampment spoke to The Chronicle about what happened, and what it says about the state of higher education.
